MURAL

Orla Cassidy, a 5th yr. student in Greendale Community School designed the mural. The mural is all about our area and school. It was chosen to be painted on the wall of Greendale Community School. Here is a pic of the wall before we started...

Corinna’s older brother Paul white washed the wall and sketched the design on it. At the start we all thought we would never get it finished because the wall was so big. However over the next few days it started to look more and more impressive. Every day each group had an hour to paint the mural. Paul helped us to mix our colours and told us where to paint. I did not think it would be so much hard work. We had to wear old clothes so we would not get paint on our clothes. We all loved painting the woman’s face and hair because we got to use loads of different colours. We would like to thank Orla Cassidy, and Paul Duffy for the paint work and the sketching.
